  • Pleasant surprise!! Did not really get the grenache, but it is Italy through and through. Medium body, black fruits, lots of spice, complex aroma & fairly tannic, but not unpleasant. Will last a few more years if the fruit holds up. Better than what the pro critics reviewed.

Tasted non blind at a wine tasting.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of leather, berries, cherries and wet stones. Flavors of berries, raspberries and cherries. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with air or continue to hold.

  • Loved this, very Sangiovese-like even though it's Grenache, quite funky but really interesting and enjoyable - Brick red, medium/full bodied with a nose of leather, plum, licorice, cherry, spice and vanilla, well structured and balanced, funky, complex, dusty, sweet on the palate with very good length, nice! (90 Points).
