Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Followed over the course of six hours, this really blossomed after about four, and continued to unfurl until it was gone. Darker in fruit expression than the more well known Goldtropfchen bottling, this felt serious, and intellectually fascinating more than it did fun. That’s not to cast aspersions on the wine. I enjoyed it, and kept going back to it. But it was more Citizen Kane than Blazing Saddles.
