  • Very lees-y, rich and creamy but with a gorgeous, effervescent minerality and aromas of apricot, orange peal, and lime blossom. Medium bodied, and soft on the palate, with sufficient acid, a mineral mid-palate and a long clean finish. Sounds good but something is weirding me out here. Hints of tomato, mint and rubber band. Lacking fruit and concentration. A little more mineral than I would expect. Very creamy too. Lacks tension. Maybe it's the vintage, try a different one. Enjoyed with bbq'd salmon and succotash on a hot summer evening.

  • A clean and bright pale lemon colour. Pronounced intensity on the nose, concentrated on primary flavours, citrus, candied orange, apricot, a hint of smokiness, developing well.
Dry on the palate, with high acidity, medium alcohol and a medium body. Medium + flavour intensity with aromas of lime zest, white peach, apricot, a hint of honey. There is a round structure with strong mineral touch, the finish is of meidum + length with bitter sweet notes of ripe lime zest. Very refreshing quite complex dry Furmint.

  • Peach to pineapple fruit on the nose with hay, aniseed, cucumber peel and slight meadow flower.
Fullbodied and greasy palatal feel with slyly working mid-level acidity and pure mid-intense fruit. Good leesy richness with almost creamy roundness and depth of flavor. The tactile presence is obviously way more than mid-intense and really makes the overall impact far more felt than just the fruit. Long finish. Lovely structure caressing the palate. Clean abundant fruit.
Not as loud as I make this seem but a stand out wine nonetheless!
