  • Purchased at the wine shop at the Chateau de Beaune. Drank in Paris at the Saint James. Really nice Village Chassagne Montrachet rouge. Nose of earth, leather, spice, and black cherry. Ripe medium palate of black cherry, strawberry, fig, and cinnamon, with a note of salinity. Excellent length. Bright acidity. Sweet tannins. Excellent wine.
