After-cut-wood aromas, little earth, black currant jam and fermented plums. On the palate rounded, smooth and ripe tannins, medium body, flavors of black berry jam with cherry bon-bon what has a nice and warm long length. Delicious, ripe, not very complex.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry. The body is light/medium. The wine has narrow texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity. Good with cheddar cheeze or on its own.

As a big believer in what we get to taste from Chile, I like this wine. It is not big or layered or concentrated. There is enough of those mineral, sappy flavors to identify itself as Chilean. The color is only moderately dark. The nose has violets and blueberries. The palate has a tight Cabernet style fruit profile of emerging black currant and blackberry with dark cherry. Close to full bodied. A slick taste of red licorice. A smoother, and softer, reddish fruit finish than expected.

Bof! Timide au nez tout autant qu'en bouche. Même le bois ne s'est pas fait voir. Rien de bien intéressant pour ce vin, mis à part le prix.
