Had at Juniper & Ivy, San Diego CA. Paired very well with suckling pig sausage and Berkshire pork porterhouse. A very approachable food-friendly wine that stays in the background while complementing flavorful meaty dishes.

Hmm. I had this in a restaurant at £30, really enjoyed it. I bought a case. The first bottle was great, smoky, peppery, great value Rhone blend. The second bottle a week or two later was very much spoiled by a reductive aroma and taste - the old SA rubber notes were to the fore. After a few hours the reduction (presumably) oxidised and the good wine was back, but at £11 a bottle, this is not a wine I want to decant 12 hours in advance. I hope the remaining bottles show better. I would score high 80s for the first bottle, didn't enjoy the second at all.

A serious lip-smacker. The berry fruit is ripe and utterly delicious yet is crucially underpinned with savoury, smoky notes. Blueberry pie? Good tannins and bright acidity pull this together nicely- you can really taste the 20% non-Syrah grapes. A feel-good wine.

Good everyday wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes. Good producer's second level wines.

Little younger than other bottles i Had before. Actually after half hour in the glass became normal. But útil then alcohol was kinda high.
Eye. Pale violet with ruby aspects.
Nose. Alcohol major with fruity notes. Some seeds And nuts in the background.
Palate. Typical rhone fruity notes And little nutmeg, nuts, almonds, pralines.
