  Approaching its drinking window but probably still not quite there yet; rich and elegant nose with apples, cherries, caramel, roses, violets, and some white truffles; the palate, complex, juicy, and full-bodied; berries, cassises, licorice, and ripe bell peppers; in the finish, still lots of fruits plus some spices and unresolved tannins; overall, 90-91 points for now; likely to benefit from more time in the cellar, but with limited room to improve much.
