  Intense golden, but without any amber hue. Yellow fruits, minerals and spices. Low in acidity for a riesling kabinett with still dominating sweetness, catoir style. But not really unbalanced. 5/12/15/7. -2027

  The type of wine you could drink 3 bottles of. Just undeniably pretty -- nose is sweet fleshy stone fruits, peach skin and apple. Palate is off dry, and the acidity is just enough to be cleansing without being searing. A lovely soft pineapple note. Just a perfect, simple wine. If I needed a daily drinker desert island wine, this would be a high contender.

  Tasty, but had a little fizz and a flat mid palate. Very slight flaw but otherwise delicious. Lots of lime, verbena and medium bodied.
  Update: Day 4 of being opened: the fizz is gone, of course, and what's left is a delightful creamy mouthfeel, with notes of lime, fresh cream and some tropical notes. Very lovely. On the sweeter side for a kabinett.

  Riesling-Probe, 2. Flight: Frank John vs Müller-Catoir
  - Frank John ist ein toller klassischer Riesling mit wenig Restsüße. Schöne Frucht, nicht zu mineralisch. Toll.
  - Müller-Catoir ist mir zu süß. Süße auch nicht gut eingebettet. Gefällt mir nicht.

  LH german Riesling, med body, peach apricot honey comb some floral some minerals flushed down with golden honey water. Good acidity n sweet balance. The acidity n sweetness gives a good bite spicy to Sichuan food, leaving you refreshed.
