Rocky Mountain Blancos (Fort Colins, Chez Roycester): 100% Pedro Ximenez. A bone-dry, classic sherry with notes of smoke and burnt olives on its wonderful bouquet. Long and crisp to drink with an intense, lip-smacking persistence that I really liked. Good value. Excellent with hard cheeses. 90 pts if you like the style.

The is the best bottle of the En Rama I've had to date and it is the best Fino I've ever had. Just incredible stuff. This is light straw color with a nose of salt water, raw ground almonds and ripe grapefruit. The palate is stunning with classic fino flavors driven up to the nth degree. Most finos lack fresh fruit quality which makes then one dimensional, tart and short in overall interest but this has it all... balance, youthful vigor, fino-flor funk, fruit, acid, intensity, length. This is great wine.

Light straw in color. On the nose, sherry. On the palate, salty and extra dry with a light, 15-second finish. This was perhaps interesting, but just not my kind of wine.

Keith's Christmas Ledbury Bash (The Ledbury, London): Duller, slightly flabbier and weightier than the 03. Seems more alcoholic than the 02. Decent but doesn't really do it for me. ***

Eric's note is spot on. A dry wine that has an ineresting profile. Not sure whether or not I liked this one.
