This terrific wine opened with a pale gold colour and a complex nose of yellow citrus fruits, white peaches and cherries, white flowers and touches of herbs and slate. The palate is complex both with its rich yet pure mouthful of fruit and its zesty minerality and drive. There is the usual filigree lightness of touch here that defines Prum and which seems to be a feature of the year. Quite delicious.

Off restaurant list. After a Raveneau Grand Gru and a Romanee-Conti this 50$ wine had a tough act to follow with the dessert, but for Prüm not a problem. Immediately captivating nose of lemon peel, minerals, white flowers. Gerat acidity, fresh mouth feel while staying light, no petrol nose yet. Very grand and can develop from here. 95-96

This wine opens with a pale gold colour and a complex nose of yellow citrus fruits, white peaches and cherries, white flowers and touches of herbs and slate. The palate is complex in both its fruit and the line of its acid and minerality. There is a lovely filigree lightness to the wine so typical of the maker that belies its richness and strength. Delicious as always !

Perfect way to finish the evening. Lovely sweetness but not clawing. Low alcohol with fine acidity. Very floral nose.

Norton for Martha. Delightful and luscious but relatively simple at this young stage.
