Lots of bottle variation with this wine. This was my last bottle and a good one at that. Drinking beautifully. Went great with wood fired pizza and figs. See precious notes for descriptors. Drink up as I don't see this getting any better.

Good but slightly disappointing. This is at Cru Bourgeois level, classically made, with fine, subtle notes of blackberry and wild strawberry, understated persistence and a decent, dusty finish. It's a very enjoyable, more traditional alternative to wines like Arsac or La Tour du Mons. But I was hoping for something closer to Clos du Jaugueyron in style and class. To be fair, it held its own next to a BAMA 98.

Quick decant. Better than last bottles in heft and taste. Joe thought it was outstanding. Drink up.
