  • Past its prime, but that’s our fault because it got shoved to the back of the cellar and forgotten. It hasn’t gone bad and was still drinkable, but there just isn’t much life in it. We were looking for a fairly light red to go with pork tenderloin on a hot night; this filled the bill but not much more.

  • Wow, pleasantly surprised. I drank my orher two bottles too early. Ready to drink now. Gentle, eloquent wine. Soft with violet and bright fruit characteristics. Good viscosity in the glass, surprisingly long flavor length..Terrific for the price.. Will look to purchase future vintages.

  • Medium-bodied, with a nice nose of stone-crushed violets. A fair amount of wood upon the first sip, but it didn't take long for the woodiness to vanish into the breeze, revealing a delicately balanced blend offering more floral and red berry notes, and a very soft, inviting mouthfeel. After even more airtime, spicy elements begin to develop. If you're looking for a fruit bomb, look elsewhere - this is a bottle crafted with finesse, not bombast. The finish is spectacular - smooth, long, and gentle. Carignane (35%), Grenache (30%), Syrah (15%), Mourvedre (15%), 13% ABV. 100% rewarding, and a terrific value. I'll have to try the 2014 vintage, and hope I don't regret purchasing more of the 2012 while it was still around. This is a very friendly wine, and I'm glad to have enjoyed the company it provided. Plush.

  • I could not have agreed more with Richard Jennings review of this wonderful wine.

One suggestion for those who rated it below 90 points - give it one more try after allowing it to air a little more time. This wine developed its full aroma and completely transformed from it where it began.
