Dull crimson with brick rim; nose is less ripe than you'd expect from this variety, leather, roasted fruit, lots of sunshine, very Rhone-esque, stewed tomato, probably a bit more age than this wine typically has when sold retail; palate is very fat with little acid, duller roasted fruit; not bad but better than some Primitivos that are so fruit/oak driven.

Dark ruby color, med body, dry, rather low acidity. Initial nose of farmyard funk mellowed after 30 minutes. Dark fruit, smooth tannins. Easy drinkink, but somewhat one dimensional. A solid everyday wine.

Love this estate but wasn't blown away by this bottling.
Rich ruby in the the glass with a tinge of magenta. Nose is a little boozy with muddled fruit notes and lots of spice. Palate was also quite hot and lacked the acidity you'd expect from Italy. Ended up falling flat and feeling a little flabby - perhaps a slight chill would help ease the structure into place.

Fruit forward and spicy, although lacking in acidity and structure for an Italian wine. Enjoyable for everyday drinking, but nothing memorable.
