The Fresh Market, which has a very odd wine inventory, carries this. They have a good bakery and I saw this on the way out. Although I am not a Chardonnay drinker (gave it up long before “Sideways”) I do like good White Burgundy and have had some very nice stuff from the Yarra Valley. Last time I drank a Hunter white (60’s) there was virtually no Chardonnay in Oz! This wine is a beautiful deep gold. Nose of apricot and honey. Good acidity with clean finish. Nothing to not like but falls short of interesting.

Not bad at all. A slightly unexpected mix of classic cream and subtle oak together with some tightening citrus fruits. Doesn't quite gel and I was looking for a little more softness and fat but regardless easy and pleasant drinking. Paid $23 at a terribly over-priced convenience store in Sydney but imagine $16 is more on the mark.
