Oh boy, how do I handle this wine. Having it young was too intense to drink, having at some point later seemed to be over the hill but now thinking that was a flawed bottle. This one was excellent with a ton of dark fruits mainly blackberries, plumbs and others. Also, had some cola and wood notes. Excellent from start to the long finish. Think it could go for some more years but why bother when drinking so great now. This is my last bottle and that’s fine since I’m an old guy and can’t be buying expensive wines that you need to hold for 10 plus years

Drinkable but over the hill. Had one bottle at about 5 years old and so over the top it was undrinkable. So I thought I’d let it sit for awhile and I guess a bit too long. The color was showing its age and the nose did not show much. The taste had some fruit but again that age came through.

Poured into a decanter and consumed over two hours. Having past vintages(06,07,09) this was different. Roar has a distinctive taste and served blind I wouldn't have guessed it was Roar. It was less full throttle and much more feminine. Smooth as can be with no tannins. I've noticed this with other '11s from various producers. Drink.

Excellent. Bigger and richer style than the RRV and SC Pinots. A crowd pleaser, this finished #2 out of 6.
