PNP. Wow is this good. Medium yellow. Creamy lemon aromas mix with flint and chalky minerals on the nose. The palate is really deep and glycerol laden with a wonderful mouthfeel and texture.

We didn’t serve these blind but easy to pick the winemaker on open. Very signature reductive style. Shed some of the reductive profile with time in the glass. Very classy wine. Complex. Linear. Good weight and energy.

Damn son…PYCM in the house! Great bottle…richness of the vintage, intense CUT of classic lemon/lime tartness…crushed limestone, sea air salinity, exotic white honey…tropical banana skin wax…SO perfect harmony…killer extract dryness…this thing drank Meursault perfect all night!!! Love this!

The First Christmas of New England @ Christmas WIMPS 2022 (La Trompette, Chiswick): Very hard to separate qualitatively from the St Aubin both delightful. This starts with a little chamomile tea and some runner bean trimmings as well as some Rose's lime cordial and the faintest hint of demerara sugar without its sweetness. There is a creaminess after half an hour in the glass and some sliced gooseberries; gooseberry fool perhaps. Lovely

The First Christmas of New England @ Christmas WIMPS (La Trompette, London W4): Encouragingly pale for a decade aged white Burgundy. Still a little smokey on the nose, there's decent mid-palate weight and a richer slightly creamy texture. There's energy, the wine is expansive and really fans out. Not especially fruity. V. impressive.
