Smells like a Chardonnay this time at first blanch. Very savory and mineral on the palate. Lean. As Patrick notes, you can really taste and smell the Semillon in that. And that must be where the Chardonnay smell is coming from.

Has more of the grass and hay than the '10. A charming nose, utterly drinkable palate, almost soft with a very long finish. A quiet wine, meaning not flashy, again, a very long finish. One taster notes "like if you eat a strawberry a week before its going to be ripe."

Change of pace on the new oak? I am being told this is best after five days open on the kitchen counter. She is bio-dynamic in the winery and in the vineyards. And everything is certified.
And at 11% alcohol. Very lean, very linear. Focused and intense. Needs years in the bottle but its all there.

So lean and pure and vivacious that I had to open a second bottle just to get my drink on.
