Breezy village Chablis, lemon, beeswax, white stone fruit. The flint is subtle yet persistent. Long finish. Really rather good, perhaps lacking some stuffing. Drink up.

Chablis Tasting (Bergi, Latvia): Very good example of village Chablis with no oak. Bright greenish yellow. Medium intense aromas of plum, flowers, sea breeze with touch of spices. Firm acidity and texture on the palate. Old vines (40yrs) and relatively low yield (50hl) for village wine give it enough concentration, but less depth compared to its 1er Cru siblings. It is hard to believe this wine hasn’t seen any oak.

Light gold. Aromas of lemons, greengage, fresh herbs, chalk and minerals. Chablis typical flavours of crisp green apple, greengage, lime juice and pear, with wet granite. Good acidic cut. Decent fruit weight. Some richness on the back palate. Enjoyable but fairly straightforward. Nice QPR. Drinking well now. I'm not sure it will be very long lived. I would drink it in the next 5 years.

A little more dense than the Vaudecorse we had a few weeks ago. A nice flinty mineral note accents the citrus and green apple. Not exciting but very solid and a good value.

Pale yellow color. Scents of mineral, slate, lemon, citrus, apple and hint of almond. Flavors of piercing lemon zest, green, herbal and mineral. It became a little more rounder after an hour opened.
