Beautiful wine still drinking great. Straightforward palate of lemon and saline--not a lot of complexity, but great texture and a lasting acidity with a long, zingy mineral finish. Very nice wine.

Medium gold colour. Fresh nose of pear and lemon - a bit like champagne. Buttery texture with some hints of caramel, followed by fresh saline then lemon. The finish is lengthy with good acidity.

A racy version of Chablis, with lots of textbook notes of lemon, apple and peach, with plenty of acidity on the finish; Lacks an extra gear of complexity to take it to the next level, but very satisfying for the price

A private lunch (The Mariners Public House, Rock, Cornwall, UK): Youthful, iridescent, green-tinged white golden colour; intensely mineral nose, lemon zest, aromatic green herbs, good depth; on the palate there is a wonderful zingy acidity, married to impressive mineral power, energy and drive, with notes of lemon and lime and a hint of salted butter; excellent length. Not the most refined or subtle of wines, but it makes up for this in sheer Chablisity and frankness of expression. A first rate Premier Cru.

Classic Chablis. Nose of crisp white fruit, sea breeze, and minerals. Lean and crsip with juicy, driving acids. Easy drinking and a good value.
