Well, my patience paid off but this bottle might have been better in 10 years. Color is good. Strong fresh cherry aroma with an initial hint of VA that quickly blew off. Very dry. Despite the aroma, subdued fruit in the mouth with mushrooms and arthy forest floor.. Tannins are beautifully integrated. Big and smooth PN. Grew bigger and more complex with air

Zoom Pinot Blind: Wine 3 of Zoom blind. This was a really interesting wine. There was just a touch of cola on the nose, but not very much. On the palate there was some nice high toned raspberry fruit, with some good density on the mid palate. The finish had an odd woody flavor - not oak, but wood; unusual. A good wine that didn't obviously stand out as a ringer in a Burgundy blind, though some people did think at first it was new world. Definitely got better with more air.

Coravined a glass to enjoy and check on the bottle. This is coming together. Cool weather light on top and big earthy underbelly. But really coming together. This will get better! Outstanding!

Coravined this glass to check on the wine. Oh, my! I have always felt that IF this wine ever came together it was going to be awesome. Still not quite together but WOW! Moderate, slightly thin red color with some browning. Big, crazy nose. Thick, slightly syrupy mouth feel. Huge, building sour cherry flavor accompanied by whole cluster funk and earthy, stemmy overtones. Good finish. Hold last bottle to 2020 or later.

Oregon Visit with Biggio Hamina, Fishing, and Family (McMinnville, Oregon): Deep dark garnet, much darker than the Deut Vert. 100% whole cluster. Nose shows the stem inclusion with bark and red berries. Palate has decent amount of acid and the tannins are rounded. There's some smoked oak showing. This is a big wine than DV in every component but not overbearing by any means. There's a lot stuffed into this bottle.
