  Three years on, this is still quite dark and youthful looking, but has tamed down a bit and is all the better for it - nose is plummier, dark berries, with peppery accents - palate is juicy, quite full-bodied, but tannins have toned down into a perfectly acceptable level and provide a nice framework - nice meaty/peppery/blackberry flavours, not complex or anything, but in a very good place, well balanced wine with some gusto. Great QPR

  Deep purple, full bodied
  Lots of dark fruit off the nose: cherries, plums-hints of sweeetness (stewed fruits)
  Dry, chalky, good tannins, medium+ finish-some hints of chocolate and tobacco
  AWESOME QPR-Great food pairing
  This wine just goes to show that you don't have to spend a mint to find a good wine. WELL DONE!!!
