Tasted at the winery. 2010 was a hot year, so this Chardonnay is voluptuous, fruit forward and quite buttery. The acidity is there, so it should be good for drinking over the next five years. A lovely wine. Drink with blackened chicken or fish.
The winery describes this as big, generous, with tropical fruit and frest toasty brioche. More instant charm than cooler vintages, with brisk balance of cooler climate acidity. 100% native yeasts for the fermentation, 100% barrel fermented, 10 months in new French oak. Cellar potential 5+ years.

A tiny bit disjointed, but a lovely wine overall. Toasty, oaky, buttery, with good fruit and acidity, and a little heat.
