Dark purple wine. First time I had it it was TANIC, still is but they have mellowed. Black fruit dried colors, coffee, game, and coocoa. Not the best wine I have had, but a very solid offering. Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Second of two btls. Similar to earlier this year, but this one is quite reduced on the nose. Internationally styled and way jammier than a French syrah ought to be. Not a hard edge in sight here, like falling into a big alcoholic pie.

Solid old world Syrah. In a good place now, won’t hold my last bottle any longer.
