Initial petrol notes on the nose, transitioning to dry yellow fruits and rocky notes. Wine flattens out somewhat on the palate and lacks the last level of precision. Still strong acid on backpalate. Consumed with lobster tempura
A good but not exceptional bottle of this wine. Subdued aromatics versus other bottles. Strong acid profile initially, which moderated with air time. Exhibited the balance that '96 Leflaives typically show.

(Leflaive Bātard-Montrachet) Medium yellow colour. Heavy musky nose, a little cream and still plenty of oak. There's gorgeous acidity and a very impressive length. Beautiful texture - lovely. Concentration without weight - gorgeous and very young.
