Two hours decanted, ready but continued to improve over the evening. Earthy nose - damp soil, wet leaves - against spice currants and winter berries. Fragrant of blueberries and raspberries, muddled with wet river rocks and sea salt. Sweat cocoa, damp clay and earth through the finish. Resolved, soft edges and absolutely lovely to sip - you can’t ask for a nicer aged Oregon Pinot.

Deep dark red medium body (13.8%) wine. Nice nose. Plum fruit with a hint of raspberry and spice. Super long finish.

Bandon Dunes PTI: 2012 Oregon Pinots; 2/14/2022-2/15/2022 (Bandon Dunes Resort): WOTTrip! No formal notes but lots of glazed eyes and "ahh's" "oooh's. Great depth, concentration w/o being heavy, and looooong! Now-2025.
