Bottle no 7 from case bought en primeur. Probably nearing its peak- very special gorgeous wine with notes of honeysuckle lime and mature buttery Chardonnay. Medium weight but very classy with lovely golden colour- hard to believe 17 years old.
Finish is clean medium to long with delightful mature minerality. It’s beautifully balanced in terms of acidity/fruit. A charming special bottle.

Attractive nose,buttery,floraly,smoky and spicy.Silky mouthfeel,nice depth of flavour and medium finish.A little light on the acidity but still a lovely wine,drinking very well at this time.
