Elegant old world Chardonnay with beautiful nose, citric with medium minerality and acidity. Honeysuckle, lemongrass and green apple on the taste. Finish was a bit lacking but likely past its prime being 7 yrs old. Would pair well with Asian food to balance. Rating: 87

A bit tart on opening but paired well with a Thai chicken, peanut, noodle dish. Consumed the rest while relaxing and once it warmed up, the flavors came out a bit more. Enjoyable for the price.

Nose shows mild notes of citrus peel (lemon, pomelo), old oak, peanut, and honeydew melon. Palate is easy-drinking, with fresh, crisp acidity. Flavours of lemon and apple, with well-integrated old oak. More prominent acidity than the Moorooduc Chardonnay; I preferred the Moorooduc Chardonnay on its own, but I preferred this with food.

Excellent, well-balanced old-world chardonnay for under $15. Classic style.
