Dark and brooding bordeaux. Smoky nose with dark fruit and refined tannins. Drinking far better than I expected based on the reviews excellent value and drinking very nicely.

This bottle has always been a great value in my book. It's still delivering at nearly q8 years of age. It has shed most of its fruit, but has nice secondary notes of damp earth and leather. Finish lingers. Definitely past peak, but still fun to revisit. Drink up. Cellar kept since purchase.

Started out hollow on the mid-palate, but blossomed out quite a bit after 30 minutes in the decanter. Plenty of fruit remains, along with some barnyard and forest notes. Medium finish, tannins still a bit strong, and the acid still keeps things fresh. Very enjoyable and mature St. Emillion that should hold for another five years. Good value.

The last bottle of a case and this wine has aged really well to be an overachiever in this vintage with enough fruit to give tertiary flavors.

Russk. Pablo keeps bring these, not all same vintage. And they are good. 90+ on day 1. 91+ on day 3. Get some.
