I preferred this a bit warmer than usual. Limes, gooseberries, minerals, herbs, and a little underripe stone fruit on the nose. Lemon, a little bitter citrus pith, earth, and minerals on the palate. A bit light on the mid palate and finish, but this worked well on the dinner table.

A Sauvignon Blanc made from organically grown grapes in a rather non-interventionist fashion.
Pale greenish yellow color. Very varietally correct aromas of currant leaves, crushed gooseberries, some grassy greenness and a sweeter hint of honey. The wine is pretty light-bodied, herbal and acid-driven on the palate with crisp flavors of citrus fruits, currant leaves, some vegetal asparagus character, a little bit of grassy greenness and a hint of nettle. The finish is quite long, crisp and juicy with flavors of tart gooseberries, white currants, some grassy greenness and a hint of herbal bitterness.
A pretty decent and balanced Sauvignon Blanc with nice structure, freshness and purity of flavors. Very varietally typical, but also a bit predictable without anything special going on here. A reliable food wine, worth its price at approx. 14€.
