Nose of black fruit (olive, blackberry), with hints of violet, thyme, and pepper. Smooth palate, with no tannin structure but strong flavours of blackberry cordial, raspberry, liquorice, and charcoal. Powerful and straightforward on the surface, but emerging herbal notes suggest it could develop into something more well-rounded.

Surprisingly straightforward commercial style for Tahbilk. Medium bodied, not particularly concentrated fruit enveloped in sweetish oak.
Bright acid.
13.5% ABV, sealed with screw cap.
