Reserved and subdued nose of fine character with a touch of concentrated spice and vague floral overtones. Very forthright, pure, sappy fruit, bright acidity, good grip, excellent balance, fairly tannic, quit appealing flavour, with a firm slow fadeout. very agreeable wine. should improve and hold for several years.
Notes from memory: We had this wine months ago with roast, herbal rack of lamb. It is delicious with the food -- but really needs the right food to show well.
Drink now / soon..

Wine at the Beach; 9/11/2020-9/13/2020: Quite tasty -- much better than the average tasting note, below. The wine is savory and herbal, rather than sweet, with cherry, herbs, spice and earth on the finish. We had this wine after our herbal rack of lamb -- which was a terrific pairing. In hindsight we might have swapped the order of the 2 wines.
Drink now. Needs food: meat and herbs. Really not a bad wine but nearing the end of its life.

Austere and not so fruity. Medium purple garnet. Medium cherry and earthy notes. Palate is subtle fruits with good acid and tannins balance. Seems like the end is near.

A muted nose of some cherry and spice, garnet in color. A light to medium bodied Pinot, with cherry, raspberry, tart, acidic and maybe a bad bottle, cooking wine. www.winelx.com
