Beautiful nose of white peaches, honeycomb, and chamomile. In the palate lots of mango, passion fruits, peaches, mandarins; dense and unctuous, it remains pleasantly balanced thanks to the zippy acidity and the long, slightly buttery and oaky finish.
A very well made wine - great by itself or with food - that will certianly improve even further with age.

Beautiful nose of white flowers, lime, petrol, acacia. Elegant palate, fresh, racy acidity, more like with Spatlese drinkability. I like it when Auslese keep their sweetness in check. Great showing, very poular at the table. Light and elegant like an Egon Muller Scharzhofberger and hey, who needs that if you can find gems like this for less than 50$ . 95+

Colour: pale straw Nose: honeyed stone fruit. Nectarine. Peach. Red apples. Smokey, flinty, stoney. Honeyed, mango. Honeysuckle and other fragrant white flowers. Palate: lemon, lemon peel, lemon curd. Honeyed, mango. Honeyed stone fruit, nectarine, apple. Stoney, flinty, smokey. Bright, clear, like sparkling translucent water over white stones. Lithe, fresh, with lots of fresh citrusy acidity that perfectly balances the sweetness. Moderately sweet, less so than a desert wine. 7,5% alcohol, seal: cork. Notes from half bottle.

[06 13] Honeyed stone fruit on the nose, flowers, crushed stones and herbs. Juicy richness on the palate, great acidity, wonderful balance. Great mineral backbone, long and vibrant finish. Drink or (better) keep. 92-93+

Mosel Trip 2018; 5/10/2018-5/11/2018 (Mosel Region): Kiwi, candy, cream, vanilla, slight kerosene. Not as much drive as the 2017 vintage tasted alongside. Would benefit from additional time.
