Currant and cherry aromas predominate, but also a little vegetal, dill pickle. Moderate to high acidity and low tannins with currants, red apples on palate. Some slight spice throughout as well. Would go well with meats.

Felt on its way out. The less impressive secondary characteristics are taking over, which is unfortunate for this bottle since its charm was in the fruity buoyancy when it was young.

An interesting wine, especially given the price point. Very aromatic at this price point, although lacking in body. Aromatically similar to a cabernet franc, yet more vegetal. Smooth soft/light tannins, with a moderate length finish lacking any complexity. Overall a very simple yet pleasing wine, if you are looking for something different. Not the grape varietal is lemberger, not cabernet franc. Tasted at Surdyk's Flights at MSP.

Tasted like a wine cocktail with a twist of lime. Tart, some coffee and licorice. Different, but not that great.
