  Smells of cherry. Beautiful acidity and tannins in a perfect harmony. Deep ruby red color. Amazing wine and has still probably has some life in the bottle.

  Good RRV pinot that I believe needs a few more years to peak. Decanted for about 30 minutes. Nice flavors initially, super bright but without any significant depth early on. I don't think this wine hit it's sweet spot until the end of the evening. Last glass, after 3 hours in decanter, has markedly evolved. Still young red predominance on the nose, and mix of both bright and old, deeper fruit on the palate. Finish is super long at this point and has hints of dark cherry pie, over-ripe strawberries and kirsch. At this point fantastic. 87 points on opening, 91 last glass. Next bottle 2021+
