Spätburgunder und so weiter; 6/29/2023-6/30/2023 (Noizé): Compared to the other Keller - more approachable, but also shorter on the finish. Not sure there's a great deal more to come - no rush but if I had'em I'd start to drink'em.

Colour showing some maturity. Nose attractive, a trace of varnish, Burgundian. Good mouthfeel. Was guessed to be Burgundy north of Vosne by most at the table of Burgundy enthusiasts.

Pop and poured. Drank over 1.5 hours. At Chateau Davyd. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of fresh red cherries, tart strawberries, licorice, fresh earth. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (135), medium- tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of red cherries, strawberries, licorice, fresh earth. Medium finish. Good quality. Somewhat simple and easy to drink. Drink up soon over next 2-3 years. Unlikely to improve much more with further ageing.

Simple red fruit nose. Palate is lean, and one-dimensional. To it's credit, the following day it did put on more weight, but still barely held any attraction.

Notably darker fruit profile than the other wines this evening. Very sweet attack. Not sure there’s much more to come here?
