  End of an era - my last shafer merlot. Delicious, rich and full bodied. Toasted oak, vanilla, black cherry and blackberry. Smooth as silk.

  Decanted thirty minutes. Youthful dark color. Cherry, chocolate, cedar and currant tones. Medium-bodied; well-balanced. Drinking very well at the moment.
