Tasted alongside a Dujac Combottes 2003, the warm sweet fruit was uncannily similar, and whilst perhaps not as much depth here, this was a very good value effort, and really sang at a cool cellar temperature.

Oak and oak tannin is pretty prominent for my tastes at this point. Integrated a bit on day 2, but I did not enjoy this very much. Perhaps fruit has faded too much at this point.

Robe d'intensité moyenne, bien orangée déjà. Nez explosif, dominé par la cerise noire. Dévoile ensuite des notes de pain, de pâte sucrée, puis des notes végétales, de thé et de vanille. Plein et souple en bouche, suit le nez, équilibré, plutôt long. Très beau vin. Allie puissance et finesse. À boire maintenant et sur 5 ans.
