Not great, not bad ... bought this years ago when deeply discounted at my local store. Nice fruit and overall texture, but relatively one-dimensional and forgettable. Pop open in the middle of the week and quaff along with your favourite meal...but better choices abound for your weekend tastings.

Enjoyable value pinot, sweet cherry dominates the palate. Quite light in colour, so a bit surprising in the big weight and long finish. Very typical California pinot style, and while ultimately a bit too sweet for my liking, very good for the occasional easy drinking Friday night.

Solid Pinot with an Old World elegance. Well priced in North America (not so much in Europe), it shows ripe red berries and a rather generic sous bouis quality. No sense of place or character here, but the potential of the varietal is shown nicely. Nothing jammy or over the top. Acidity is adequate, if impish, and tannins are fading and powdery. One to drink now.

Retailer tasting (@ GT in R): In the bouquet red forest fruits, some minerals and metal. On the palate red berries, some sweetness, ok acidity and soft tannin. Fairly full bodied wine.

I still am amazed that this wine can pour so thin and have so much flavor.
