  This wine has aged surprisingly well; moderate berry notes and smooth finish. Went well with a beef stew.

  This wine has aged surprisingly well. Hats off to the winemaker! Handley continues to produce pinots with sensitivity to the potential of the flavors of this singularly amazing grape. This is a potent expression of one's wine craft. Not as dark as the average California Pinot Noir, not as light as the French equivalent, but packed with flavors that tintilate and keep the nose and tongue in a pleasant search for the mystery the source of this magic. Well done!

  Black cherries with slight sour cherry, some caramel notes, perhaps with a hint of blueberries.
