  PNP. Deep and very hazy magenta color. Roast beef, pink peppercorn, black cherry, leather, and subtle violet. Smooth, dry palate, with fine, soft acidity. Firm, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish. 100% Syrah
  
  Well made, for a nothing special vintage. This has aged quite well, although not exactly my style. Tasted at the winery in Tain-l’Hermitage.

  Une très belle surprise en débouchant cette bouteille. Au nez, on penserait à une Syrah avec plus d’âge. En bouche, on est dans une belle phase à mi-chemin entre le primaire et le tertiaire mais avec des tannins en retrait par rapport à ce qu’il était en jeunesse. Très bon maintenant, encore pour quelques années je crois.

  PnP. Au nez, c'est surtout épicé et anisé. Mais en bouche il semble éteint. Passé en carafe plus d'une heure et toujours pas ouvert. Les tannins sont très fins et soyeux. Je m'attendais à un vin corsé, épicé et poivré, mais il se boit comme un vin de soif... J'ai gardé deux verres pour demain.

  Bon, on s'entend que c'est jeune, mais je l'ai ouvert à l'horizontale et décanté pour les lies puis servi immédiatement. Au nez, c'est très fruité avec à peine une discrète note fermière. On est sur les arômes primaires de cerise plus que de mûre, avec des notes poivrées qui se révèlent à l'aération. Ça gagne en complexité dans le verre, avec une belle longueur, mais ça demeure toujours accessible. C'est très bon - hâte de voir comment ça va évoluer en cave.

  A Matter of Taste: London Edition (Saatchi Gallery, Chelsea): Still very young but a great depth and quality. Nose full of primary fruits, earth and spice. Smooth rich deep palate. Nice.
