Complex and starting to show some nice development
Waxy, nuttiness, dried herbs and flowers and peachy preserved lemon core of fruit. Nice acid giving some freshness, full bodied and long. Showing very well now with a double decant but will of course continue developing nicely over the decades

Decanted four hours beforehand and served at ~15C. Delicious apricot, hazelnut, and spice. Integrated oak. Long finish. Mouth-watering freshness. Not unlike a good manzanilla sherry aged in oak, but better! A great experience.

Musar Blanc is Lebanese Baklava. Dates creamed and spread thin with chunks of pistachios and hazelnut asphalt. Drizzled in honey, splash of perfumed rose water. Sweet, savory stuff.
Beautiful, oxidized, full of strong perfumes. Butterscotch, roasting nuts, crumbly cheeses. It's acidic, salty, drawing Sherry references. Insane concentration, rounding out the tongue peripheries with dried apricot, almond, orange essential oils.
What an impossible gob of imagery

Even better than the bottle we had last Christmas - that tasting note holds good, though.

Went through a bit of a wet dog phase from 1 hour to 2.5 hours in the decanter. Thankfully it blew off, so I don’t think this was corked.
A beautiful wine, but I’m not sure if this one’s for me.
