Pale straw yellow, clear. Light nose of grapefruit, ginger, green olive. Light tannin and bright acidity. Lots of saline, citrus, a hint of green, nice bite. Medium long finish. A very nice Muscadet.

2012 shaping up very nicely for Muscadet. The Clos de la Fine has penetrating acidity that is immediately remindful of Chablis, as are the iodine, saline, seashell bent of the aromatics. Fruit wise, there are subtle nuances of quince paste, pear and peach pit. Everything is beautifully delineated and precise on the palate. The lees lend a low level creaminess to the texture. Great qpr. Chablis fans can save some money here.

Didn't get the chance to drink much of this but what I had was great. Will definitely buy again and drink as an aperitif.
