  • Brought to drink at Oinoscent during service.
Fragrant, beautiful, ripe citrus, lime, sweet spices, vanilla, glazed almond, decadent, grapefruit, poached pear.
Palate showing vibrant profile, lime, lemon, high balancing acidity, grapefruit, pineapple, tense, keeps expanding in the glass, long finish
In a beautiful place right now

  • A dense golden colour. Med intense bouquet w. petroleum, preserved lemon and some exotic fruits. Matured but still fruit-forward with plenty of lemon, lime, peach, cucumember and flowers. Crispy and mineral rich finish.

  • At first very creamy and fruity, seemed a bit tired. After 4h more and more acidity and minerals coming through, fruit dissipating and gaining complexity. Terrific length. Drinking very well but has huge potential. 94+

  • Surprisingly mature aroma profile and color. Just loved the expressive and complex nose here with minerals, petrol, lemon and flowers. Some honey and wax as well. Well balanced palate, not too searingly acidic, creamy even for a riesling. GG Rieslings are just a Gem, especially also if you look at the price point. Wonderful!

  • Intense lime green color. Very ripe, sweet and somewhat waxy nose with intense aromas of apricots, some honeydew melon, a little bit of grapefruit zest and a hint of smoky minerality. Overall a very attractive and harmonious nose. The wine feels crisp, intense and very juicy on the palate with focused flavors of lemon, beeswax, some quiince, a little bit of stony minerality, a hint of cantaloupe and a touch of steel. The high, almost racy acidity gives the wine tremendous balance, focus and great structure. The finish is crisp - almost tart - with very long and mouth-puckering flavors of lemon, green apples, some steely minerality, a little bit of waxy character, a hint of sweet spices and a subtle touch of creaminess.

A superb, focused and harmonous little stunner. The wine feels very ripe and fruty, but the acidity feels more than adequate to give the wine neccessary balance, structure and tension. Although the wine is pretty much in its drinking window, it promises worlds on its cellaring potential; there is definitely no need whatsover to pop these beauties open yet. Very highly recommended.
