  • Its our 9th anniversary and this is my very last bottle of Rives-Blanques. Its been a ride, I’ve loved it, but now I can’t source these wines from anywhere :-(. Lovely deep nose of rich fruit, yellow apples and melon. The palate is quite rich with excellent fruit and excellent acidity, touch of smoke to mark the oak that was once prominent. An excellent wine from an excellent year!

  • Popped and poured at fridge temp. Needed to warm up a bit, but then refined tropical fruit, bit of pineapple and passionfruit, with a touch of oak. The palate also shows very fullsome tropical fruits, passionfruit, with sweet oak. Quite a full bodied wine, very delicious, should get better with a few more years on it.
