Medium yellow. Lifted, high toned, floral nose. Medium weight but beautiful creaminess and a touch of lactic/lees. Wood is there but it is completely interwoven into the subtle mix of yellow fruits. Very satisfying length. Approaching Grand Cru quality, especially in its texture and density without seeming plodding or heavy.
Nose dominated by sulfur - perhaps added to the bottle for shipping according to the tasting host - all 3 bottles opened for the tasting had the same sulfur nose. Looking beyond the sulfur you can tell this is a nicely made well balanced wine with a very long finish. Nice complexity throughout from start to finish.
