Crimson core with paler rim; having been open for a few days it seems that much of the green herbaceous notes have dissipated; a plumper floral and red fruit note has revealed itself, slight oxidation but holding up well, some candied strawberry and cherry, younger and rounder; well structured with a buffer of pretty red fruit, sour cherry, some strawberry, pleasant grip and texture on the finish; nice, a bit 1-D but should age nicely as most DFs tend to do.

Fabulous fruit, structure and everything that is hoped for in a restrained burgundy. The tannins softened on decanting. More importantly, the fruit and length were significantly improved once out of the bottle.
Yum. I want more for my cellar, as it will likely improve even further with bottle ageing.
