Bright light yellow. Ripe citrus and floral aromatics. Oh, what a wonderful, carressing, spherical feel! Lemon oil flavors backed up by terrific finishing acidity. This is a really beautiful Premier Cru.

(Paul Pernot et ses Fils Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champs Canet) Light medium lemon yellow color; oak, light graham cracker, vanilla nose; oak predominates on palate too, but could integrate with 3-4 years bottle age; structured, ripe pear, mineral, saline palate; needs 2-plus years; medium-plus finish
