Tons of lemon on the nose, smells a bit lean. A very light touch of green herbs. Acidity is stronger on the forefront and at the finish. A touch reductive. Light on the palate. Alcohol is balanced, and it feels a like a new world wine in the nose and on the palate, but a French finish. Would be a versatile pairing wine.

Nose: Lots of green apple, and some grassy/herbaceous aromas.
Palate: Lots of green apple, mild oak, some hints of yeasty bread and toast, a bit of ferrous iron, some nice tannins, and lots of thirst-quenching acidity. (Note: after some aeration, faint chamomile and tarragon flavors emerge.)
Body: medium to light, although not out of line for a villages level white Burgundy. (The body strengthens a bit with some aeration.)
Finish is moderately short; mostly tannins, acidity and oak, all mild. Also present is a faint hint of old-fashioned mimeograph paper.
I wish this one were fruitier, but altogether it's not bad for a $19 white Burgundy...decent Monday afternoon sipper.

Light but very pleasant chardonnay. Clean and quite racy with notes of white blossom and almonds. Probably best without food.
