PnP. Easy drink, slightly rough edges (though I think the wine is at its peak), earthiness of Grenache and Petit Sirah dominate the profile of this wine along with a hint of tobacco, I did not pick up jamminess, though the wine leans to the sweeter side. Medium bouquet, medium+ body. It was enjoyable and very drinkable, did not find anything particularly memorable. 90+
Opened this after the Vallana Bernardo was finished. The differences were drastic. This was an overextracted fruit bomb with all the subtlety and nuance of an AC/DC concert. The fruit was good and there was plenty of it, but there was little acid to temper the fruit, and it felt unbalanced compared to the Spanna. If you like big new world fruit driven wines, you should love this. I enjoyed it too, but it was definitely heavy handed.
