Very full bodied wine with great nose and mild tannins! We didn't taste much barnyard in our 2010 version, very drinkable from the first taste! We will be buying more if this great wine! See my tasting note with help from the program: The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, flint, light toast, cinnamon and meaty. The body is medium/full. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Raisin caramel, reddish purple color. Bread flavors. Little heat. Zinf is coming through. Raisin bread flavors. Nice zesty flavor. Hint of cinnamon on the palette. Strong tannins. Very tasty stuff. Definitely a unique blend. Not sure if I could do more than 2 or 3 glasses of this.

Opened this one night, not knowing what to expect. Paired it with grilled pork chops. Perfect match and the wine blew away all 4 of us. Great value. Good nose. Good fruit. We generally like heavier wines, but this was a perfect pair with pork when our typical cabs are too big.

Color is more like a pinot. Hot alcohol of wine overpowers fruit. Mild tannins
